Keurig 2.0 Review

photo(8)I was extremely excited to get this from Influenster to try out! Really this seemed like the dream campaign to be apart of. I anxiously awaited it to hit my doorstep for days. When it finally arrived I packed up my old Keurig and happily replaced it with the 2.0 I received.

I set it up and really – the machine is beautiful. Really sleek and nice shiny greys. It really looks nice sitting on the counter – matches great with stainless steel appliances. Really high tech and nice looking.

It was very easy to set up and use (outside of the water filer – I needed the boyfriend’s strength to separate the two pieces in the filter) Filling up the water was a messy process since the container does not remove like my previous machine. I was forced to fill up cup after cup and load the water that way….and it was a bit splashy/messy.
I was pleased to also receive a sample pack of KCups to use. I brewed one right away and tried out the new touch screen. Very simple and easy to use touch screen. I was a tad disappointed by the sizes available – only 8 and 10 ounces? I do 12 and 16 ounces mostly with my old machine.

Overall – great coffee quality – nothing different there. My main gripe? That now you can ONLY use KCups that have been specially formatted for Keurig. I have a stock pile of KCups – and I wasn’t about to just let those goes to waste and spend a ton of money on brand new KCups. I don’t want to pigeon hole myself into only buying one brand of KCups. So overall I finished all of the sample pack and then started using my old Keurig system again.

Overall I really loved the machine – everything about it was great – but I just can’t foresee myself using it again until I use up my stock pile of already bought KCups. Maybe when that is depleted I will make a point of buying the new KCups. Otherwise it is really only good if you need a pot of coffee since that is a new feature my old Keurig cannot do.

Go VoxBox Review

20140617-191441-69281819.jpg

I was lucky enough to receive the Go Vox Box from Influenster! This was definitely my favorite Vox Box yet! This is the biggest amount of product I’ve received from them and I also really enjoyed all of these products as well.

PRO FOOT Triad Orthotic

I am horrible to my feet. I wear the most improper shoes imaginable. No support, heels, sandals like pieces of paper. Just awful all the time to my feet. I have bunions which cause me pain. I have calluses which are ugly. And I run countless miles every week.

I tried this orthotic with my typical $15 Payless flats that I wear to work every day…and I literally felt like I was walking on clouds. I left the house feeling like a million bucks. I couldn’t imagine the difference this product has made on my life.

And you can even get this product for as low as $5 at Walmart!!! That makes it affordable enough to buy one for (almost!) every paid of shoes I own!! Can’t wait to get a pair for my sneakers and favorite heels! So affordable – especially compared to other products out on the market that I have tried.

ProFoot Pedi-Rock

The boyfriend tried this product before I did! I was out one day and he texted me telling me that he tried this. Very funny!¬† He did like it but his feet aren’t that callausey so he doesn’t need to use it often.

This product is very soft like it says and does remove a decent amount of dead skin. However my feet are pretty awful and it only scratched the surface of my calluses. It did leave those areas decently smooth though!

Vitamin Shoppe Next Step Meal Replacement Shakes

I am always looking to try new meal replacement drinks since I am always on the go and looking for things that I can eat quickly and are also semi healthy. I received samples of this powder in Fresh Berries, Swiss Chocolate and Vanilla. All 3 of them tasted pretty decent – nothing overly amazing to rave about flavor wise. The powder didn’t dissolve very well but I’m really not great at that in general. I felt like I mixed and shook the bottle for a long while and still was getting clumps.

The packet specifically says this is a meal replacement that helps “reduce hunger and cravings” – I was seriously starving after I had the vanilla shake. Hunger wasn’t so bad after the other two flavors though, but I definitely didn’t make it through until a next meal without having a snack .

Vitamin Shoppe Next Step Shaker Bottle

This bottle was seriously cute. It looks small but it really holds a lot. Love the colors. I did not like the spout though! The opening where you are supposed to drink out of is way too big and awkward to drink out of.

Aqua Spa Relax Body Creme

Surprisingly this was my favorite item in the box! I’ve tried countless lotions and this one is seriously great. Smells amazing. Use a dime sized amount and it is good for your whole leg! A little goes a long way. Not greasy but definitely a good lotiony feel that lasts all day. I was so surprised! Would definitely buy this lotion again.

Blue Diamonds Blueberry Flavored Almonds

The boyfriend’s favorite product. He almost couldn’t wait for me to take a picture before he devoured the entire package. He let me try 1 or 2 of them and they were pretty good. Pretty pricey but there are coupons for Blue Diamonds products from time to time. I would buy again if I could get a good price.

Influenster J’Adore Vox Box Review

20140322-181434.jpg

I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive the J’Adore Vox Box from Influenster. Above is a first look at everything I got in the box!

20140322-181414.jpg

Red Rose Tea.

I never have been a tea drinker but this stuff has me converted! It was so delicious the Creme Caramel flavor was great. And they sent me like 4 samples of this which was nice to have more than once! I am addicted and devastated that I haven’t been able to find this product in stores! Gotta expand the search!

20140322-181422.jpg

Hershey Kisses

I love baking with these things but the BF isn’t such a fan of them. So instead I have been having 2 for an after lunch dessert at work! It is the perfect little treat after my healthy salad.

Boots Botanics Iconic Clay Mask

I have tried a lot of masks…and overall I don’t think any of them really do anything for me, this one included. I break out the same time each month in the exact same place. Didn’t see any differences using this product or others.

John Freida Frizz-Ease 3 Day Straight

#1 I don’t blow dry my hair often. But when I did last week I gave this a try…but honestly my hair is straight 85% of the time anyway so I’m not sure if it actually works or not.

Kiss False Eyelashes

I haven’t had a chance to use this product yet! I didn’t want to just put them on to put them on – I actually want an occasion to wear them. Maybe for when I’m on tv in March I’ll give them a try!

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Back At It At CVS

Feeling good after having two good weeks of couponing in a row! Thanks to the people I follow on Instagram who spotted the Axe body wash & deodorant on clearance…because they were NOT marked clearance at mine!!

Another reason why CVS is the absolute best…easy scanning! Sometimes I feel like I scan the entire store but it’s definitely such a big help! I never would have found these deals if I didn’t scan them first!
